ATI National Nurse Educator Summit

The National Nurse Educator Summit will feature nursing professionals from across the country who share a passion for education and lifelong learning. Coming together for four info-packed days, March 31- April 3, that will help them grow and excel in their role as nurse educators, all while earning Continuing Nursing Education credits.
The attendees have the opportunity to join discussions on the critical issues facing nursing and healthcare today, as well as share knowledge, celebrate achievement, and build relationships that promote a stronger nursing industry. Top industry speakers will include Jamie Murphy Dawson, MPH, Steve Rizzo, and Chip Eichelberger.

Savannah Comic Con

Savannah’s Comic Con brings you TV/Film Stars, Voice Actors, Comic Book Creators, Cosplay, and so much more. This wonderfully fun filled two days will take place April 6th and 7th at the Savannah Convention Center. Be ready to see Comic Con special guests Rob Paulsen, Summer Glau, John Wesley Shipp, Carey Means, Laura Martin and many more. There will also be a Cosplay contest. Richmond Hill High School Prom

On Saturday night, April 6, 2019 the Chatham Ballroom at the Convention Center will magically turn into the beautiful prom for Richmond Hill High School. Savannah Derby Devils Game

Savannah’s very own roller derby team the Derby Devils will be hosting their 2019 bouts at the Savannah Convention Center. Their first home bout of the season will take place on April 6th and is a double header vs. Greenville Derby Dames at 5pm and Orlando Roller Derby at 7:30pm. All Roller Derby events take place in the exhibit hall, tickets are currently available. There will be concessions onsite so come hungry and thirsty for this year’s bouts as we cheer on the Savannah Derby Devils aka the Hostess City Hellions!

South University White Coat Ceremony

Graduates of the South University will be honored at the South University White Coat Ceremony taking place at Savannah Convention Center on April 12, 2019. One Hundred Miles

One Hundred Miles is a coastal advocacy organization with a mission of protecting, preserving, and enhancing the 100-mile Georgia coast. Led by a dedicated staff and a committed Board of Directors, One Hundred Miles focuses on core issues of water and wetlands, land use, changing climate, and wildlife. On Saturday, April 13th, One Hundred Miles will host interactive workshops, coastal advocacy training, and inspirational speakers at the Savannah Convention Center. This day’s events will be followed by a behind the scenes field trip to nearby coastal destinations. Take action and join One Hundred Miles for this informative conference.

Barbizon Training

For 75 years, Barbizon has been developing models and actors through expert and reputable programs and industry connections. The Barbizon experience is about discovering what makes you special and developing your one-of-a-kind “star” quality for the whole world to see. A training event will take place on April 13th. EMAG Summit and Training

The Emergency Management Association of Georgia welcomes professionals from emergency management, public health, healthcare coalitions, and others to the 2019 Emergency Management Summit and Training Sessions at the Savannah Convention Center April 17-19th.
There will be speakers and sessions designed for emergency management professionals from EMA, EMS, hospitals, specialty care, as well as other community partners. A complete agenda is available at www.emagonline.com.

Coastal Bankruptcy 2019 Annual Bankruptcy Law & Trends Southern District

The Coastal Bankruptcy Law Institute (CBLI) has a long standing position as a valuable resource of bankruptcy law education in the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia. CBLI offers several seminars annually that address changes in the bankruptcy law code. These day-long events draw hundreds of law professionals from throughout the 11th Circuit. On April 19th, a seminar will be held at the Savannah Convention Center. The materials presented will be of interest to practitioners who regularly appear in court cases involving consumers and small to medium size businesses on behalf of either debtors or creditors. The institute expects to advance the dual purpose of increasing lawyer proficiency and promoting the efficient administration of justice.

ACCG, Georgia’s County Associations, come together with us here at the Savannah Convention Center to communicate about the issues facing their communities, to expand through educational sessions and networking opportunities in this member-based service.
